’Known for their grand, stirring compositions, A Winged Victory for the Sullen have earned cult status among fans of ambient music. Taking inspiration from Debussy and their friend and collaborator Jóhann Jóhannsson, they create filmic soundscapes filled with lush orchestration, that elicit a sense of nostalgia and melancholic yearning.

As individuals, Adam Wiltzie is best known as a founding member of Stars of the Lid; and Dustin O’Halloran is known for his film score work, including Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette and Garth Davis’ Lion.’
